The Hot Rox Dancers have quickly become the talk of Chicago media and sports fans with their talent, beauty, and sassy energetic performances. AUDITION INFORMATION DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED FOR SPRING 2012 Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Grand Ballroom Open auditions will be a two-day process with the first day of auditions taking place on Saturday, August 9, 2008, at the Holiday inn Hotel & Suites Grand Ballroom, 495 Airport Road, Elgin, IL (just off of I-90 and Rte 31). Doors open at 7:30 am auditions begin at 8:15 am. Be prepared to stay until the completion of the first round of auditions where 30-45 women will be selected to make the finals. All finalists must be available for two practices the week following the first round of auditions. The finals will be held Saturday, August 16th, 2008 in front of a celebrity panel of judges. The finals will be open to the public and media. REQUIREMENTS You must be at least 18 years of age by May 1, 2012. You must submit a current photograph (does not have to be professional picture) and a completed application. Applications are available via the website www.majorleaguedance.com or can be emailed or faxed by request. AUDITION ATTIRE Proper attire is a two-piece top and shorts dance ensemble with tights or hose and comfortable dance/tennis shoes. *Briefs are not necessary* Come in performance hair and make up. AUDITION FORMAT Registration begins at 7:30am. Auditions will begin promptly at 8:15am. Please do not be concerned if you have minimal dance training as judges are looking for potential and great attitudes. Applicants do not need their own choreography. All materials will be taught at the auditions. Plan on staying for the entire day until the completion of the first round of auditions when the finalists will be announced.
